Usage Limits
Daily AI message quotas per plan and what happens when you reach the limit.
AI features have a daily message limit that depends on your plan. The chat assistant, content suggestions, and Voice Quick-Fill all count toward the same daily quota.
What Counts as a Message
Each message you send to Person Trail AI counts as one message. AI responses do not count against your limit. In other words, the limit is on your inputs (prompts), not the total back-and-forth.
Actions that count as one message each:
- Sending a chat message to Person Trail AI
- Using Smart Suggest on a text field
- Using Voice Quick-Fill to create or fill a job
- Using AI auto-fill on any form field

Limits reset every day at midnight UTC.
What Happens at the Limit
When you reach your daily limit:
- The chat panel shows a message that you have hit your limit for the day
- An Upgrade button appears so you can increase your quota
- Your limit resets the following day
How-It-Works Page
The AI chat on the public How it works page has its own separate limit. It uses IP-based rate limiting and is not tied to your account quota.
Checking Your Usage
Your remaining messages for the day are shown in the footer of the AI chat panel.
