Blueprints

Upload blueprints and floor plans, then drop annotation pins to mark key areas on the drawing.

Stop texting photos of marked-up plans. The blueprint viewer lets you upload drawings, PDFs, or images for any job, then add clickable annotation pins right on the document so your crew knows exactly where to focus.

Availability

Blueprint viewing and annotations require Trailblazer.

How It Works

Open a job and scroll to the Blueprints section. Upload a file (PDF, JPG, PNG, or DWG). The viewer displays the drawing inline. If you upload multiple versions, use the dropdown to switch between them -- the latest version is selected by default.

Adding Annotations

  1. Tap Add Annotation
  2. Click anywhere on the blueprint to drop a pin
  3. Enter a label and an optional note
  4. Save

The pin appears on the drawing and in the annotations list below it. Crew members viewing the job in read-only mode can see all pins but cannot add or move them.

Key Features

  • Upload PDFs, images, and DWG files directly from the job page
  • Version tracking -- each upload increments the version number
  • Clickable annotation pins placed by percentage coordinates (responsive at any zoom)
  • Pin labels and notes for clear communication
  • Read-only mode for crew members viewing through the portal
  • Annotation list below the drawing for quick reference
  • Tier-gated: non-Trailblazer users see an upgrade prompt
